Market Diner is a wonderful stop right outside the regional market and Destiny NY. The restaurant is very clean, well staffed, and nicely decorated. The portions are generous and tge prices are more than fair. Our server was friendly and welcoming, and very attentive. We enjoyed our experience at Market Diner and highly recommend you give them a try.

Fast Service. Big Portions. Filling and tasty. Only minor issues were it was a little cold in the building and I only got 2 carrots with my meal but they were really good carrots. Had the Pot roast. Felt like they gave me a double portion of mash and gravy and I struggled to finish it. My gf got a reuben and same thing she could only eat half of it before packing the rest to go. Happy we picked this place, we are both normally working this time of day so when we are free we try to catch places like this that aren't open later.

Always polite staff. The food is always good. Got a chicken and cheese quesadilla recently which was good. Good choices in seating from counter, booths and tables.

A really good diner. The 3 egg omelette was excellent. The home fries large and chunky. With onions. Good coffee Slightly slow service but nothing I can't live with

I grew up on Long Island, and have been on the hunt for a good breakfast sandwich in Syracuse that is comparable to a Long Island bacon, egg, and cheese since I moved here. Market Diner's breakfast sandwich is definitely the best one I've come across in Syracuse! I usually get their Classic Breakfast Sandwich with a side of sausage links, homefries, and bacon. It comes on a roll, and the only thing that would make my like it better is if it came on a bagel. Very happy to have found a delicious breakfast sandwich in Syracuse!

Pre-pandemic I used to stop by here regularly. But after moving away, not so much. Stopped by for breakfast on a lark, and the place was pretty dead, so service was excellent. I ordered the frittata with Italian toast and found it to be tasty and quickly prepared which was reminiscent of my experiences in the past.

A friend and I stopped here Saturday morning for a late breakfast and it was my first time to the Regional Market Area. The server was phenomenal, but the food took a bit to come out. In all fairness, it was quite busy... so I wouldn't hold that against them. I had the Philly Cheese Steak Omelet (steak, onions, peppers and provolone cheese) with toast and hashbrowns and he had eggs, bacon and wheat toast. Everything was absolutely delicious and I don't think either of us were able to finish the generous portions. The price was right and I would definitely recommend the Market Diner.

So sorry this is half my lunch! Market Diner on Park St near the regional market. Delicious Friday fish fry. Very nicely breaded haddock, fried perfectly, still moist and not overcooked. The roll was a little more firm than I like it, but it wasn't stale..I just like softer bread. My side was homemade macaroni and cheese, with a nice little dusting of crackers on top. The noodles were cooked nicely, a bit al dente, the cheese was smooth but I did add a bit of pepper.
